Acupressure Points for Edema in Face

Jingming (BL1)

Jingming can be used to relieve facial swelling and puffiness. It is located above the inside corner of the eye. Press it lightly with your forefinger and applying pressure using small circular motions.

Chengqi (ST1)

Chengqi can be used to relieve swelling and pain in the eye. It is located directly below the pupil of the eye, between the eyeball and the infraorbital ridge. Press it lightly with your forefinger and applying pressure using small circular motions.

Jiache (ST6)

Jiache can reduce swelling of the cheek and face. It is located at one finger-breadth anterior and superior to the lower angle of the mandible, at the prominence of the masseter muscle when the teeth are clenched. Use your thumb or forefinger and apply pressure or you can do circular motion with finger.

Fengchi (GB20)

Fengchi can be used to reduce swelling of the head and face. It improves blood circulation in the face and head. It is located behind your earlobe, toward the top of your neck and the base of your skull. Use your thumb or forefinger and apply pressure or you can do circular motion with finger.
